Went uptown to check out the new @jjillstyle denim Went uptown to check out the new @jjillstyle denim collection and had the best time seeing some of my faves @lucyswhims @lombardandfifth @juliamcguire @laurennapier @thisthatbeauty. The denim collection is really really good. Goes up to size 28 and the fit it impeccable. I tried on four styles and none of them had the waist gap. Fit my postpartum body like a glove. Everyone wearing the jeans looked amazing in them. Kudos @jjillstyle
Three months into my postpartum journey and adjust Three months into my postpartum journey and adjusting to life with a toddler and a newborn, I’m really loving the journey and enjoying the process of becoming. My word for the next year is METAMORPHOSIS because motherhood has changed me for the better. Growing up is inevitable, but watching my baby’s d Growing up is inevitable, but watching my baby’s development has been a gift I am beyond grateful to be granted. She’s turning 3 years old in a little over a month and STARTING 3K. YES, ALL CAPS, BECAUSE WHAT DO YOU MEAN MY FIRSTBORN IS GOING TO SCHOOL? It was just the two of us for almost three years — learning, experimenting, traveling, and exploring the world around us. I’ve been her teacher, and now someone else gets that monumental task come fall. It’s bittersweet. I’m happy to let her spread her wings, make new friends, and teach me things she’s learning. But I will never stop being her teacher. So the new adventure begins — we’re heading back-to-school shopping. I have no clue where to start, so any tips or advice are welcome. To the parents of high schoolers heading off to college or leaving home: my heart is with you. I have no idea how you’re able to let them go — near or far, they’re still leaving the nest. Mine is just three and won’t be far at all, and I’m already having a hard time letting go. I can only imagine how you all are feeling
