And just like that, Olivia completed her first and And just like that, Olivia completed her first and second day of school. She’d been so excited for school until it was time for us to leave the classroom. That’s when she lost it. It’s been a little tough transition because she has been with me for the last almost 3 years (she turns 3 next week). I also shed tears as Thomas led me out of school. It’s been a very hard two days for me because she’s been my sidekick and constant companion. No more daily activities as we used to do but she’s in incredible hands. Her teachers have so much patience and love for each child so I felt a lot better today as we dropped her off. She wants to go to school but wants me to stay with her in the classroom. I wish. I’m still adjusting to letting her go off into the world but every president or Fortune 500 CEO or doctor or inventor had to have a first day of school. So here we are. To the mamas who sent their babies off to college, I have no idea how you were able to let them go.
